Explaining the impacts and benefits of having a balanced diet that contains plenty of nutritional value to improve your health and mental wellbeing. The one thing that everyone typically understands about nutrition is their 5-a-day from fruit and vegetables. However, it is estimated that only 1 in 4 of us are able to consistently eat 5-a-day. Many of us are guilty of using supplements to try and fill a void of micronutrients rather than adapting them into our diet. However, this can never replace a healthy diet. Having supplements shouldn’t mean that you no longer have to eat your 5-a-day as a piece of fruit, for example, contains a package of essential nutrients and fibre.
